Nicole Chavers Stratton, the Artistic Director of the Academy of Arts, is the daughter of Nicky and Sheri Chavers, who founded the ministry in 1971. Nicole graduated from The Academy of Arts Conservatory and received her Master of Sacred Fine Arts Degree in 2004.

Nicole has traveled to over 20 states directing week-long Drama Seminars involving well over 30,000 students and has directed on the Logos Theatre stage producing professional, God-honoring productions for 18 years. Nicole has written and produced the much-loved Christmas classic, Silent Star, the biblical epic, Esther, as well as 6 fantastic, original children's musicals. Most recently, she adapted, staged, and directed Prince Caspian and then The Horse and His Boy, from The Chronicles of Narnia, and these both have received world-wide acclaim.

Nicole’s burning passion is for people to learn to think with a biblical worldview about every part of their lives and to understand the philosophy that we are all made in the image of God. Therefore, we are all joyfully accountable to use our tones, words, and actions to communicate truth beautifully and boldly to a lost and dying world.
